West Port High football coach Jim Lindsey must write a letter of apology to one of his players in the wake of an incident last week where he allegedly slammed one of his players to the ground during a practice drill.
School District spokesman Kevin Christian said late Thursday that Lindsey will also be forced to undergo coaching classes, a specific course that will teach leadership skills and how to deal with players.
