I guess we had a lot of sex.” On January 26, 1997, the then 16-year-old wrote: 3 times minus 1. That meant she’d had sex thrice that night, twice with her boyfriend and once with his coach. The latter was a sum negative, as far as the girl was concerned, portrayed in this confidential memo as something of a self-assessed penalty.
