In the last two weeks, critics like me have scrutinized every decision Wade Phillips has made. He’s been criticized in the newspaper. And on sports talk radio. And on Internet message boards. He’s stripped Brian Stewart, his hand-picked defensive coordinator, of most of his play-calling duties. And it’s only going to get more intense around here if the Cowboys don’t figure out a way to beat Tampa Bay today and end their two-game losing streak. But if you think the last couple of weeks have been hard on the head coach, it has been worse on his son, 29-year-old Wes, who’s an assistant with the Cowboys.
